slot-saver respects your privacy and handles personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 and, where applicable, the GDPR.

Data we collect

Business owners: name, email, phone, business details and login credentials (passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes).
Customers (entered by businesses or via bookings): name, phone number, appointment details. We process this on behalf of the business as a data processor.

How we use it

To operate bookings, send WhatsApp confirmations and nudges you trigger, collect deposits, and provide analytics to the business. We do not sell personal data.

Messaging

WhatsApp messages are sent via the WhatsApp Business Platform. Phone numbers are used only to deliver booking-related and business-initiated messages.

Payments

Card and UPI details are handled directly by Razorpay and Stripe. We never store full payment instrument details.

Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your data by emailing privacy@slot-saver.app. Businesses can delete customer records from their dashboard.

Retention & security

Data is retained while your account is active and deleted on request. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and daily database backups.
